On Thursday 28th January, the first Creative Networks of 2010 presents internationally acclaimed speaker and photographer, Martin Parr.
Martin Parr is probably one of the most influential living British Photographers still working today. With over fifty books and countless exhibitions, Parr is known for his lurid and sometimes shocking use of colour in photography, and his satirical witty approach to documentary photography leaves the viewer not sure whether to laugh or cry. It’s Christmas which means it’s time to relax, kick of your shoes, come inside by the fire and take time out to network. Animated Music Videos
On Tuesday 8th December from 6.30pm till late, Animated Yorkshire will be hosting an event at the Leeds College of Art to discuss what does make a great animated music video?

Celebrating our first anniversary, Creative Networks presents:
Ajaz Ahmed, is the Founder of Freeserve, the UK™s largest Internet Service Provider (ISP) now known as Orange. His eureka moment came when he bought a PC at PC World in Leeds and nobody in the store could tell him how to get onto the Internet. After much persuasion by him, Dixons launched Freeserve in September 1998 and became the UK™s largest ISP in just three short months. It floated just nine months later at a market cap of £1.5bn and entered the FT 100 soon after, in March 2000 it had a market cap of £9bn. Ajaz was one of the three founding executives to launch the business, seeing it through flotation and the £1.6bn sale to Wanadoo. (more…)
