Residents of all ages were invited to come and take part on Friday 9th October, in a completely free celebration of the city™s diverse and exciting arts scene. Light Night 2009
The spectacular annual Light Night arts event takes place in Leeds city centre on Friday 9th October and Old Broadcasting House is no exception. ‘Electric Pets’ by Louise Atkinson and Innovation Showcase coworker Chris Martin, will exhibit their creatures knitted from wire who intercept unheard signals from the atmosphere and translate them into sound. These newfound electric pets will be free to play with by all who attend. At Temple Works™ fellow coworkers Dave Lynch, Stuart Childs & Scott Towler will take you on a tour through the secret spaces, and the exhibition of workers’ “Final Days“. (more…)

Uncovering Thinking Digital
What have I learned at Thinking Digital? There™s a lot here and its only lunchtime on the first day. We arrived yesterday afternoon to attend Thinking Digital University. I got the Techbus up from Old Broadcasting House, which was great fun. This was a seriously well-equipped bus “ wireless, coffee, kitchen with fridge and sink, TV and best of all great company.
