Forward thinking innovative events and seminars are being developed across the region. Through the partners and resources of the NorthernNet innovation and collaboration programme, a calendar is being put together to communicate free and additionally funded events for the creative and digital sectors.

The Northern Technology Institute (nti) Leeds provides specialist training for digital professionals.  We’re proud to be part of Leeds Metropolitan University, and of how far we’ve come since setting up in 2003.  Our move to the lovely  Old Broadcasting House in 2003 enabled us to grow our training offer, and also to establish Leeds’  first, and still best, coworking space. This means we’re lucky enough work with innovative and creative people every day.

We believe in fostering innovation through training, collaboration and shared ideas. And as part of Leeds Met, we also want to build skills in the region, and we do this by using the very best trainers, enabling businesses to invest in their most valuable asset, their people.  Because we’re passionate about learning,  we also  support  grass roots groups in the sector by welcoming them to Old Broadcasting House for their meetups, unconferences and get-togethers.

nti Leeds is the Apple Authorised Training Centre for the Yorkshire, Humber and North East region and we’re also authorised training partners for Adobe, Zend, Apple and PRIPRINCE2® . We run regular courses in mobile apps development - Android and iPhone and iPad, as well as the Adobe Suite, Apple’s Pro Apps and Mac OSX authorised courses, Zend PHP, Linux, Agile, Wordpress ….and more, in fact too many to mention here!
