The UK’s First Twitter Awards - The Golden Twits
The Drum recently announced, the UK’s first twitter awards to celebrate the best of Twitter. A FREE entry encouraged individuals, businesses and consumers, to tell the world why they are the one to follow.
Twitter details were handed over and short questions answered, in no more than 140 characters. Categories to enter included; business to consumer, business to business, corporate individual / private individual, weird, humour, celebrity and many more.
The nominations have been announced and include Leeds based @Paris_Panda to vote for. Judges for the event are all leading new media figures such as;
- Ashley Stockwell - Virgin Media
- Syd Nadim - Clock
- Peter Abraham - Econsultancy
- Trevor Chambers - Start Creative
- Rowan Heasley - Naked Penguin Boy
- Mat Morrison - Porter Novelli
- Adan Sefton - Reading Room
