Recent graduate? Looking to work in the creative and digital sector? Get ahead by joining the Leeds Met™s freelance skills agency, nti Works.
Nti Works is part of Ecomonic Challenge Response, a programme of free support worth up to £1500 per individual, available to those affected by the recession running from June 2009 until June 2010.
The programme includes training, delivered by industry professionals:
¢ Developing an online profile
¢ Sales and price negotiation tactics
¢ Client management
¢ Time and project management
Participants will undergo a Training Needs Analysis that will assess the type of training or support best suited to their path in becoming a competent, fit for business freelancer.
Nti Works also includes three month membership of our Innovation Showcase “ a coworking community. Benefits include city centre business address, facilities (cinema screen Macs, professional software) and mentor support. Work alongside other freelancers and startups from across the creative and digital sector, making contacts and networking in this unique collaborative environment.
The University™s resources will improve your chances of gaining paid work experience through referrals to short term projects and other employment opportunities.
