Innovation Vouchers
Business Link have teamed up with Yorkshire Forward to offer Innovation Vouchers to provide small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the region with financial support to engage with Yorkshire’s universities and other academic institutions, such as nti Leeds (part of Leeds Metropolitan University), to help their business grow and develop.
Innovation can take on many different forms. It could mean selling an existing product or service into a new market, or finding easier and cheaper ways of doing things or adding additional attributes or benefits to your existing product and service offerings. An innovation project should add value to your business, helping to keep you ahead of the competition and improve your main concern - bottom line profitability.
Vouchers up to the value of £3,000 can be redeemed to fund the cost of an academic’s practical knowledge and expertise. This is a great opportunity and nti Leeds are really excited to be working with a number of businesses on innovation projects already, such as developing new software and providing specialist support services.
