The West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network (WYLLN) - Digital Industries Sector Group is led by Leia Bassett at nti Leeds. In an ever-changing and increasingly competitive economy, WYLLN is providing employers with the tools to invest in the future of its workforce.
WYLLN is working with employers to develop new and flexible higher level vocational courses which actually meet the needs of today’s businesses. Digital Industries including Creative Digital, ICT and Print is one of the 7 sectors WYLLN is focussing on.
How can I support my employees through higher level training?
How much commitment you will need to give to support your employees through training will depend on the type and level of course. There may be a minimum commitment that you will need to make in order for the employee to take the course, e.g. allowing time off to attend college/university or supervising their skills development, but how much commitment you make is up to you.
