Shift Happens 2.0 and the AmbITion Roadshow
On 29th and 30th June, two separate but complementary events, the AmbITion Roadshow and Shift Happens 2.0, will take place in York to explore the next evolution in Web 2.0 and digital technology and its potential for your work.
Arts Council England and the AmbITion project, invite you to the AmbITion Roadshow in partnership with Shift Happens on Monday 29th June, 9.30am-4pm. AmbITion invites you to a day of exploration, exposition, conversation and critical thinking around the digital opportunities for your organisation. Gain practical hands-on experience of the Web 2.0 environment to inspire and provoke creative thinking.
Following straight on from the AmbITion Roadshow, Shift Happens 2.0 begins at 4pm Monday 29th June and runs until 5.30pm Tuesday 30th June. This two day event is packed full of speakers that include Lucy Wurstlin from 4IP, Andy Hobsbawn, Bill Thompson, Alex Fleetwood, Charles Cecil, Jon Spooner, Kit Monkman, Simon Bedford, Andrew Spooner, and Sarah Ellis. Other collectives that will be participating include Jam Jar Collective, Tim Jones & Tassos Stevens, and Sam Freeman. Kate Foy from Australia and Janice Fraser from the USA will also join the days discussions - both live via Skype.
Both events will take place at York Theatre Royal, with an online network to continue discussions and make contacts. Use this network to ask questions, showcase your talent, make new contacts, highlight your events, openings and launches, let others know about interesting news articles you have found.
