…and its even better this year, not just because we’re sponsoring it!  Organised by Leeds entrepreneur and former Old Broadcasting House coworker Dom ‘The Hodge’ Hodgson, this promises to be an eventful weekend on August 6th and 7th at The Mint Hotel here in Leeds.

 Leeds Hack claims to be ‘the largest independent UK hackday outside of London’ to quote from the website.  So 150 ‘hackers’ will gather in a (rather nice) room, and compete in teams  over the weekend, to see what amazing things emerge.  Last year’s outcomes provide a flavour of what is possible.

As part of the weekend’s activities, we’re providing a re-run of the ‘Build an App in an Evening‘  event workshop. This time its ‘Build an App in a Morning’.  Its delivered by our  iPhone app trainer and consultant Dave Verwer.  So if you missed the last one, here’s another chance - and you can also get involved with Leeds Hack
