Crossover Labs - Introduction to Cross-Platform Innovation

On Monday 21st September, The Round Foundry Media Centre, Foundry Street, Leeds and The Electric Works, Sheffield Digital Campus, Sheffield, will see Crossover Labs look into new ways to manage and support innovation that will commercially drive ideas generation into your business. Previous lab participants Diarmid Scrimshaw (Warp Films, Sheffield) and David Eccles, (Numiko, Leeds), will introduce the Crossover Labs concept and talk about how it impacted their business. Cross Labs’ Mark Atkins, Frank Boyd and Heather Croall will then lead a short session to introduce the approach.

This event is aimed at producers, senior creatives and business development professionals, from film, TV, games, mobile and interactive companies - people who are keen to explore the potential of cross-platform collaboration and gain greater understanding of new business opportunities.

Leeds and Sheffield will be linked up using the new pan Northern secure 100mb minimum fibre network which links 15 media access points in North West, Yorkshire and North East. Northern Net will bring both locations together live for this Crossover Lab introduction event. Each location will have live speakers, mentors and audience engagement across both locations.
