Dr Paul Buhler
Paul Buhler is a senior SOA consultant with SOA Systems Inc. and a Certified SOA Trainer for SOASchool.com. Dr Paul is also the associate Professor and Graduate Program Director at the Computer Science Department, College of Charleston, USA.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Paul is a respected researcher, practitioner, and educator of service-oriented computing, SOA, and services-based technologies. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina; his dissertation research combined issues of service-orientation, web services, and agent-based computing. He has authored 20 published papers regarding SOA, agent-based computing, and web service composition.
Paul serves on the SOA Education Committee and the program committees of many of the international conferences, and workshops relevant to the advancement of service-oriented computing and service engineering. In addition, Paul provides strategic consulting services to both government and commercial clients. His expertise has been sought in areas of enterprise architecture, open source middleware, complex event processing, semantic web technologies and cloud computing.
