Zend PHP I: Foundations
The PHP I: Foundations course is designed to provide relatively inexperienced programmers with a solid foundation in the PHP language. This course guides you through the basics of PHP with an experiential approach, filled with numerous examples and hands-on exercises, including substantial practice in coding a functional application. All of the exercises are designed to reinforce key learning. You will also have the opportunity to use the Zend Studio IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to start your coding adventures the easy and correct way! The Zend Training Center will allow you to code exercises live during the course with your instructor able to both see and coach your progress.

Those who wish to get started as a developer/programmer, learning the basics of the PHP language. You may be a web designer who wishes to start learning web development. We do assume the you have some experience of using command line interfaces, and that you have some familiarity with web sites - what they are and the very basics of how they work, for example, some knowledge of HTML. We'd be happy to discuss whether this course meets your requirements with you in more detail.
