WordPress is the ideal platform for creating simple content managed websites and blogs due to it’s intuitive and easy to use nature and open source standards. WordPress is by far the most popular website management software on the web with 9 years of development, countless plugins and themes; it can be tailored to suit almost any website need.

This course is aimed at developers who wish to gain a full understanding of how to fully integrate an HTML design into a WordPress site and finely tune the site for Search Engine Optimisation, performance and best practices.

You will be provided with a WordPress Pack, which includes examples and tutorials from the day, recommended web hosts, plugins, SEO tips and further reading and resources. The pack will  ensure that you always have reference material when you come to developing WordPress sites in the future.

Developers and designers who build websites, who have a knowledge of HTML and CSS , and who would like to understand how to use WordPress as a Content Management System.  This course would also be valuable to front-end web designers with little or no PHP knowledge, who are looking for a simple way of integrating designs into a complete and mature content management system .
