This course is suitable for games programmers, animators, technicians, architects, teaching staff or anyone who would like to create 3D animations.  The course is  aimed at beginner to intermediate level users.

You will learn how to:

Create, model and render 3D graphics

Use  animation techniques in Blender

Create complex scenes and graphics through compositing

Course outline:

Day 1
Lesson Description
1 3D Graphics Learn 3 basic stages of creating 3D Graphics; including: Modeling; Layout and Animation and then Rendering
2 Animation Learn how the techniques of Drag, Follow-Through and Overlapping Action work - these are fundamental to animation. Move from simple onto some more advanced examples showing how animation can be straight forward - even for beginners
3 Games and Interactive 3D Multimedia We show the all new 3D Games Kit and the fun of creating models, giving them motion and how to turn them into simple games. Experienced 3D artists have more complex game demos and the charter animation tutorials to work on
4 Compositing Without a doubt, compositing is currently one of the hot topics in 3D computer graphics creation, particularly because it enables efficient  management and creative control of complex scenes and images. A typical 3D graphic can consist of many individual layers each having a special filter or effect applied and combined into the final result. By pre-rendering such layers an artist can work much faster on fine-tuning the final result of an images
