Day 1
Lesson Description
1 Introducing Action Script Action Script versions 1,2 and 3, Using the Actions window and placing scripts in frames, Action Script core syntax and structure  and Using trace for debugging
2 Object-orientated Action Script What is object orientated programming? How a frame script relates to Action Script as an object orientated environment, Properties and methods and Polymorphism and importing packages
3 Data types Core data types, Arrays, variables and assigning values, Pass by reference and pass by value, Dynamic typing and run-time type checking and Variable scope
4 Branching and looping Booleans for decision making, Booleen operators, Conditional statements using if/else and Loops using while and for
Day 2
Lesson Description
1 Functions Functions, parameters and return values and Local variables and functions as methods
2 Events Events and event listeners and Listening to events
3 The Display API The Display list and various Display objects, Display object events and Event flow through the display list
4 Working with graphics Targeting Display objects, Moving and resizing Display objects on the stage, Creating basic animations with Action Script3 and Loading images and .swf movies
5 Working with text Manipulating text field, and Using user input via text fields and scrolling text
