The open space is organised into  ‘Pods’, equipped witha Mac Pro computer, and an Apple 30″ studio display, WIFI and broadband connectivity. Members also have access to meeting rooms, and a coffee area that is great for meeting clients.  Membership costs  £90 + VAT per month.

The coworking space  is a great alternative to working from home. You work for yourself because you value your independence and want to develop your ideas. Green IT is gaining momentum – but it is an area that is complicated by misinformation, tokenism (or ‘greenwashing’) from manufacturers/service providers and misperceptions among end users. At the moment the key driver for most organisations is cost saving, although the UK public sector has published carbon reduction targets for 2012 and 2020.
