ITV News Journalism Traineeship 2010
Following the continued success of the ITV News Group Journalism Traineeship, ITV will be offering the scheme for a fifth successive year in 2010. The ITV News Trainee scheme offers the opportunity for enthusiastic and committed people to develop skills in broadcast journalism within the company. TEDx Leeds
On the 10th September 2009, Leeds Metropolitan University™s Rose Bowl hosted Leeds’ first encounter with the independently run TEDx event. Organised and introduced by Imran Ali (Carbon Imagineering), nti Leeds, and Codeworks, TEDxLeeds was one of five TEDx events to take place in cities across the north of the UK in a venture entitled TEDxNorth, who™s main organiser Herb Kim, gave thanks to the hard work and time given to what would be a challenging and exciting evening for all in attendance. Expo Leeds Unconference
The first Expo Leeds unconference for sound art and experimental music launched at Old Broadcasting House on 25 September to kick off the Expo Leeds weekend festival. The unconference explored exciting, ground-breaking, experimental practices in music and sound creation, including digital technologies, research and live demos, with speakers coming from around the world.
