What do you do outside work?
Outside of nti I work as an artist. The www.DoGoSee.com Project and the geo-locational game Our City, Our Music ( http://ourcityourmusic.wordpress.com ) are projects I’m working on.
What do students get out of a training course at nti?
The best thing about coming on one of the courses at Nti is that students really get access to the wealth of knowledge and experience of the tutors.
Best piece of feedback from a student?
I think the best complement is when you bump into a student a few years down the line when you can see how they’ve moved on beyond anything you could have taught them. That gives me a real buzz. Chocolates are the best form of feedback though.
Best thing about your job?
Seeing people’s eyes light up, you realise that something has clicked for them. It could be the most basic technique or advanced method but, whatever, it gives a real sense of satisfaction.
