What is nti?
nti is part of Leeds Metropolitan University’s Innovation North faculty. Now based at Old Broadcasting House in the Civic Quarter, nti Leeds started life in 1993 as one of 19 government-funded New Technology Institutes around the country. We’re one of the few still going strong and are now called the Northern Technology Institute, or nti Leeds for short.
We provide digital and multimedia training courses but we’re more than just a training centre. We believe in fostering innovation through training, collaboration and shared ideas. And as part of the university we also want to build skills in the region and act as a networking hub for new and established talent.
We offer:
- Quality accredited training courses by leading tutors
- A fantastic learning environment including our brand new training suite
- Tailored training packages
- Wide-ranging events including talks and seminars with industry speakers, unconferences, exhibitions and meetups
- A great venue that can be used by groups and organisations across the sector
- Coworking space for start-ups and independent workers
- A forum to meet like-minded people, exchange ideas and collaborate
We have a track record of working in partnership with suppliers, clients and external organisations. We often lead region-wide funding bids and we’re part of the West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network that gives everyone an equal chance to learn, not just those who’ve been to university.
Behind this pioneering service there is a hard working team. Get to know the faces that present nti.
